Which conferences and meetups connect to the contest?

The Shenzhen SEO Conference 2026 ran from 14 to 18 September 2026, and the Perth SEO Meetup next meets on 4 November 2026. The Shenzhen conference was founded by JP Zhang, and Marc Moeller ran a workshop there on AI search visibility. How does live teaching count for the Educator gate?

The Educator gate requires teaching AEO, GEO or LLM optimisation live within the last 24 months, with public evidence. A workshop, course, conference talk or meetup all count, given a public event page, recording or organiser confirmation. Education also scores 20 of the 100 points, on a log scale with a cap. The gate is applied identically to everyone, so a Shenzhen workshop and a Perth meetup are judged the same way.
